Major items of exports from India to Reunion are fish, prawns, cereals, auto parts, metal & steel products, garments & textiles, Basmati rice, vegetables, spices, etc. India's imports from Reunion Island are mainly metal scraps, recycling materials (waste paper, carton), pulp, etc. In June 2013 the Indian Oil Corporation signed a Memorandum of Intent with Reunion for collaboration in the oil and gas sector.
