Announcement of the 88th Edition of Know India Programme (KIP)

The Consulate General of India, Saint-Denis, Réunion Island invites applications for the 88th Edition of the Know India Programme (KIP), a flagship initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

The Know India Programme (KIP) provides young members of the Indian diaspora with a unique opportunity to reconnect with their roots while experiencing contemporary India's cultural heritage, economic progress, innovation ecosystem, scientific achievements, and developmental journey towards Viksit Bharat @2047.

Programme Dates : 16 August 2026 – 29 August 2026

Application Deadline 16 July 2026

Eligibility :

Applicants must:

  • Be a Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), or Non-Resident Indian (NRI).
  • Applicants aged 24–28 years will participate under the Young Professionals cohort.

Please note: Under the revised KIP Guidelines, NRIs are now also eligible to participate in the Programme.

How to Apply : 

Interested applicants from Réunion Island are requested to submit their applications to the Consulate General of India before the deadline.

Documents Required :

  • Duly filled KIP Application Form 2026
  • Copy of Passport valid for at least 6 months and with at least 2 blank pages
  • Copy of PIO/OCI/NRI Card, if available
  • Educational Qualification Certificate (minimum required - Graduation from a recognized university)
  • Passport-size coloured photograph

Applicants are requested to download the KIP Application Form 2026 form and send the completed form by email to cons.reunion@mea.gov.in and pic.reunion.mea@mea.gov.in
