Advisory for French nationals and other residents in Reunion Island for Indian visa following outbreak of COVID-19

In view of COVID-19 outbreak, all regular(sticker)visas and e-visas granted to nationals of France and other nationalities residing in France stand suspended.

If you have a very compelling and urgent reason to visit India, you may visit this Consulate in person, and make a visa application on the forms that are available with the Consulate. You will also have to submit the following documents:

1. Letter justifying the urgent need to travel to India and supporting documents.

2. Passport along with two photographs in the prescribed size.

3. Documents as per visa category supporting your application.

4. Medical certificate stating ‘tested negative for COVID19’ from designated laboratories. This should be translated into English, if it is in French.

*Please note that this does not guarantee you a visa. Your application will be examined and visa will be granted on the basis of merit in each case’.
